Whether you are a first-time member, a long-time supporter, or have been away and want to reconnect, the Dallas Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi brings together Pi Phis of all ages with special events like the Christmas Tea, Mahjong Monmouth Duo, Pink Party, Founders' Day, and our biennial Ungala which is themed, "Pi Phis Under the Palms”!

Among all the fun, we have volunteer opportunities to serve and to raise money to support our worthy beneficiaries who address literacy needs in our community! Your volunteerism and monetary contributions make such a positive impact!

Meg Munson McGonigle was initiated into the Texas Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi at The University of Texas at Austin. She is a quadruple legacy, following in the footsteps of her mother and two sisters who are also Texas Alphas, and her grandmother, a Texas Beta at Southern Methodist University. Surrounded by a rich family tradition of Pi Phis, including great aunts and cousins, Meg was inspired from an early age to let her love for the “wine and silver blue” run true!  Meg's leadership within Pi Beta Phi has been extensive over many years. As an active, she served as Texas Alpha VP Social, and since graduating she has attended Pi Phi Conventions, and remained active on both the Executive and Officer Boards of the Junior Group and Daylight Angels Group of the Dallas Alumnae Club.

Meg and her husband, Patrick, are proud parents of their son, Ben, a 7th grader at St. Mark’s School of Texas, and also enjoy spending time with their 6 precious nieces and 3 awesome nephews.  Patrick and Meg love all things family, friends, faith, and fun!

Johannah Mayfield Kersey was initiated into the Texas Zeta chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Baylor University. She enjoyed serving in various chapter roles, especially the philanthropic endeavors of the chapter. As an undergraduate, Johannah also represented Pi Beta Phi while serving as President of Baylor Ambassadors. After graduating with a B.A. in English from Baylor University, Johannah earned a M.A. in English from the University of Virginia. She shared her passion for literacy as an English literature and writing teacher.

While living in Houston, Johannah was actively involved in the Houston Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi where she helped with social events and philanthropic projects. After moving to Dallas, she has enjoyed hosting events, volunteering in the style show and welcoming sisters to the Dallas Alumnae Club. Attending the National Convention is one of the many cherished highlights she has experienced as a Pi Phi.

Johannah and her husband, Christopher, enjoy raising three children: Arrabella, a sophomore at Highland Park High School where she enjoys being a Highland Belle, Christopher Jr., a 7th grader and Sterling, a 5th grader, both at St. Mark’s School of Texas. Her family enjoys traveling, playing sports, serving in their community and building a foundation of faith.

Johannah and Meg have a favorite saying:  “Our sons brought us together, Pi Phi made us sisters, and true hearts made us friends!”
